Van Pugh South is located on the east side of Lake Lanier and more towards the south end. Directions - take exit 12 (Friendship Rd) west towards Lake Lanier, take a right onto McEver and then a left onto Gaines Ferry Rd which will lead you down to the park entrance. Van Pugh South is a Corps of Engineers park. Call 770-945-9531 for more information. I will get pictures and a list of amenities when the park re-opens.
